Apprentice NDT Equipment Storeman - Aberdeen

Altrad are currently looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice NDT Equipment Storeman to join our team.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day management and coordination of Base Facility stores, assisting with the maintenance, inspection, certification and stock control of NDT equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience within the NDT and Integrity sector while working towards a recognised Modern Apprenticeship in Warehousing, Storage and Distribution.

Key Deliverables:

• Assist with the stock control of NDT Integrity plant and equipment.
• Support the certification, maintenance and calibration of Altrad-owned Industrial Radiography, NDT and Advanced TOFD/PA equipment.
• Assist with the mobilisation and demobilisation of NDT Integrity equipment.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries and collections.
• Support the management and accuracy of stock levels, including completing routine quarterly stock audits.
• Input and maintain information within stock control systems.
• Assist with coordinating resource requirements to support cost-effective purchasing and stock control.
• Support waste management activities.
• Assist with compiling check sheets to facilitate stores manifesting.
• Ensure deliveries are accurately checked and assist with generating reports for any discrepancies.
• Assist with generating equipment checklists and Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
• Support the ordering, inspection and maintenance of NDT equipment.
• Work alongside experienced team members to develop knowledge and practical skills within the stores and equipment function.

• No specific educational qualifications required.
• Enthusiastic and motivated individual with a willingness to learn.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Proactive approach with an interest in developing a career within warehousing, logistics and equipment management.Willingness to undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in Warehousing, Storage and Distribution.
