  • About The Role

  • Altrad are currently looking for an experienced Onshore NDT Integrity Technician to join the team.

    The successful candidate will have relevant experience within the NDT and Oil & Gas industry and will support the maintenance, servicing, certification, calibration and mobilisation of Altrad owned NDT and Integrity equipment, ensuring equipment and associated documentation are maintained to the required standards.

    Key Deliverables:

    • Support with certification, maintenance, and calibration of Altrad owned Industrial Radiography, NDT & Advanced TOFD/PA Equipment.
    • Support with mobilisation and demobilisation of Integrity Equipment.
    • Assist in ensuring the day-to-day orderliness and tidiness of the Integrity workshop.
    • Support the Integrity Plant and Equipment stock control.
    • Support with the loading and unloading of deliveries and collections.
    • Support with the packaging and containerisation of materials and equipment.
    • Support with the emptying of returned containers of equipment and materials.
    • Assist with waste management activities.
    • Assist in the tracking of orders in Eplant and Stock Orders.
    • Ensure that accurate inspection records are maintained.
    • Support the compilation of check sheets to facilitate stores manifesting.
    • Support the compilation of certification packs including operators' instructions, and ensure that all are valid.
    Key Requirements / Qualifications:
    • Experience in a similar role.
    • Experience in the maintenance, service and certification of NDT equipment.
    • GCSE, Higher Education or experience commensurate with the role and have demonstrated an appropriate level of technical competence.
    • Previous experience in a similar role in the Oil and Gas Industry is desirable.
    • Knowledge of the range of services Altrad does and can provide to the client is desirable.
    • Knowledge of PUWER & LOLER is desirable.
    • Knowledge of COSHH & Manual Handling is desirable.
    • Knowledge of Task Risk Assessment is desirable.
    • Environmental Awareness is desirable.
    • Product Specific Training is desirable.
    • Knowledge of Electronics is desirable.
    • Level 1 qualification or awareness of NDT methods including UT/MT/PT/EC/RAD is desirable.
    • Forklift Licence is desirable.
