Thermal Insulation Engineer - Wilton

 Altrad are currently looking for an Insulation Engineer to join the team at Sabic Wilton for the upcoming planned works.

The shift pattern is Monday to Thursday 8 hours, Friday 6 hours. The pay rate is in line with TICA agreement, £19.04 per hour. The work is expected to last 3 weeks with immediate starts available.

Key Deliverables:

• Interpret blueprints, mechanical schematics, and building plans to plan the layout
• Choose correct insulation types like foam, mineral wool, or silicate based on project needs
• Measure, cut, and shape materials, fastening them with clips, adhesives, wire bands, or cement
• Add protective sheet metal cladding over insulation to guard against weather and physical damage
• Safely remove and clean degraded insulation or hazardous substances like asbestos following safety rules.
  
  

Key Requirements:

• Valid TICA (Thermal Insulation Contractors Association) skill card or a relevant CSCS card
• Valid CCNSG Safety Passport or EMSS Certificate
