Senior Infrastructure Manager– Helensburgh
Working pattern: Hybrid – minimum of 2 days per week based on site in Helensburgh.
Altrad are currently looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Manager to join the team.

About the role:
As a Senior Infrastructure Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring critical infrastructure supports the safe, secure, and effective delivery of operational requirements. Acting as the intelligent customer for infrastructure programmes, you will work closely with internal teams, delivery partners, and key stakeholders to align infrastructure capability with current and future business needs. You will provide oversight throughout the infrastructure lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with strategic objectives.
Key Deliverables:
- Provide oversight to ensure infrastructure assets support safe, secure, and effective operational delivery.
- Act as the intelligent customer for infrastructure programmes, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and delivered.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align infrastructure capability with operational priorities and future programme requirements.
- Support the acceptance and handover of new or modified infrastructure, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and governance requirements.
- Work closely with delivery partners and supply chain organisations to ensure successful programme delivery.
- Contribute to long-term infrastructure planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor programme progress and provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
Key Requirements / Qualifications:
Essential:
- Experience managing infrastructure, engineering, or capital projects within a complex environment.
- Strong project management experience with the ability to oversee multiple workstreams.
- Engineering background, ideally within Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) disciplines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain UK security clearance.
Desirable:
- Experience within defence, nuclear, infrastructure, construction, or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of infrastructure governance, asset management, or engineering assurance processes.
- Experience managing the handover and acceptance of infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with programme management and working across multidisciplinary delivery teams.
