Asset Compliance Manager– Helensburgh

About the role:
The Asset Compliance Manager is responsible for providing assurance that asset compliance, inspection, testing, maintenance and statutory compliance activities are effectively managed, accurately recorded and consistently reported. Working closely with operational teams and key stakeholders, the role supports compliance governance by reviewing performance data, conducting assurance activities and ensuring compliance arrangements remain robust across infrastructure assets.
Key Deliverables:
- Conduct independent assurance reviews and audits of asset compliance activities.
- Review compliance records, documentation and evidence to ensure statutory and organisational requirements are met.
- Analyse compliance data to identify trends, risks and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate the collection and presentation of compliance information for governance meetings and reporting.
- Support the development and maintenance of compliance assurance processes.
- Liaise with operational teams, functional leads and stakeholders on asset compliance matters.
- Monitor compliance performance and escalate issues where appropriate.
- Assist in maintaining accurate compliance records and management information.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen compliance and governance arrangements.
Key Requirements / Qualifications:
Essential:
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- Knowledge of infrastructure asset compliance and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience reviewing compliance records, documentation and assurance evidence.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
Desirable:
- Experience working within highly regulated industries.
- Experience supporting compliance, governance or assurance functions.
- Experience working within large infrastructure, engineering or facilities management environments.
- Knowledge of audit, assurance or quality management processes.
