Operational Procurement Assistant - Goldthorpe

• Support the Operational Procurement Team Leader in delivering an effective procurement service.
  
• Assist with supplier sourcing, negotiations, and fulfilment of orders.
  
• Process purchase orders accurately and in line with category management instructions and internal procedures.
  
• Develop an understanding of business requirements and expenditure across allocated categories.
• Use Power BI to review business analytics and spend data.
•  Develop knowledge of ERP Requisition to Pay processes and support internal customer training.
• Build effective working relationships with stakeholders and ensure compliance with company procedures.
  
• Work in accordance with health and safety legislation, company safety rules, and environmental standards.

• Previous procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or administrative experience would be advantageous.
  
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence working with data and willingness to learn Power BI and ERP systems.
  
• Ability to follow procedures, manage priorities, and maintain compliance.
  
• Proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Flexible attitude and willingness to learn and develop within procurement.
