Altrad Integrity Services are currently looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join our Aberdeen team to support the effective delivery of materials, logistics and shipping operations across the business. This role is responsible for assisting with the management and coordination of the Central Stores Facility, ensuring goods are prepared, packaged and transported safely, efficiently and in compliance with company procedures and applicable legislation.
Key Deliverables:

Coordinate the preparation, packaging and containerisation of materials and equipment for shipment.

Support the coordination of domestic and international transportation and logistics activities.

Ensure all shipments are completed in accordance with relevant legislation, industry regulations and company procedures.

Coordinate and supervise the shipment of dangerous goods and radioactive materials, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations.

Assist with the management of international shipments and associated documentation.

Work collaboratively with Group Operations, Purchasing and Plant teams to ensure the efficient movement of materials and equipment.

Support the day-to-day operation of the Central Stores Facility.

Assist in maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels.

Participate in routine stock audits and inventory reconciliations.

Support the effective management of surplus materials and inventory optimisation.

Ensure shipping documentation, manifests and certification are completed accurately and maintained appropriately.

Promote high standards of housekeeping within stores and shipping areas.

Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Company HSEQ policies, procedures and the Altrad Safer Together culture.

Work closely with HSEQ teams to maintain compliance and promote continuous improvement.

Support colleagues by sharing knowledge and contributing to the development of team capability.

Contribute to the continual improvement of shipping, logistics and stores processes.
Key Requirements:

Current IMDG Dangerous Goods by Sea certification.

Current IMDG Radioactive by Sea certification.
-
B2 Forklift Licence.

Good computer literacy and experience using Microsoft Office applications.

Good understanding of international shipping and logistics processes.

Previous experience in a shipping, logistics, stores or warehouse coordination role.

Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
